Golf and Romance

Do you and your sweetheart play golf? Together?

For some couples, playing together is not romantic. There’s competition and advice-giving which severely impacts the enjoyment of playing together.

Try playing by these rules:

  1. Unrequested advice = one penalty stroke.
  2. Honest praise = one kiss point.
  3. Making the other person laugh (between strokes) = one laugh point.

At the end of the round, add up the scores:

Total strokes
+ penalty strokes
– kiss points
– laugh points

Your score.

Lowest score wins . . . whatever. It’s up to the two of you. And you could use the same rules for putt-putt. Enjoy – Robert
