Stay Home To Find Romance

A movie critic provided me with his view of a new romantic comedy.

He was obviously not very keen on this particular movie. His view: this movie was dull and unromantic. His reasons to thump the movie were the typical and unimaginative, clichés used by those paid to tell us if we’ll like a particular movie.

As he summed up his view of this movie, he finally provided a spark of intelligence. He said, instead  of going out to this moving to find romance, you’d be better off staying at home to find romance.

I like to encourage couples to bring more romance into their relationship by trying something new, something different, something non-routine. It helps make their good relationship great. Many of these suggestions involve going somewhere different and trying something new.

Now I’m suggesting you can romance your sweetheart in a familiar place – your home.

To accomplish this, use your sweetheart’s preferred way to be romanced to romance him/her.

If their preference is:

  • WORDS, find or create a story which conveys how you feel;
  • GIFTS, bring home a plush toy or frame a lock of your hair as a gift;
  • TOUCH, offer to give your sweetheart a hand massage;
  • Spending TIME together, bring home the ingredients for making dinner together.

If you’ve followed me for long, you’ll notice these are what I see as the major ways of romancing your sweetheart.

When you romance your sweetheart how he/she prefers to be romanced, where you romance her/him doesn’t matter.

Sometimes choose to romance your sweetheart at home. It’ll be a pleasant surprise for your sweetheart and it’ll save you some money.

Use the saved money to create a future romantic adventure away from home. Robert
