Romance Invades Your Personal Space

There’s an invisible area around each of us called our “personal space”. We’re uncomfortable letting people encroach upon this area. No one is allowed inside without your permission.

It is very intimate to let someone cross that threshold.

I’m suggesting, you and your sweetheart have “fun” letting the other inside this personal space.

Quietly stand about four feet apart. Every 10-15 seconds, each of you take a small step towards the other.

Continue moving towards each other, maintaining eye contact, until you’re as close as you can get without touching. While standing close, each shares what they’re feeling or thinking.

Now reach out for a hug and hold the embrace 15 seconds or longer. Think you’ll see that this can actually be a game you can enjoy – after the first hesitant steps. Robert
