The conference, like most, was interminable. Jill volunteered to attend for only one reason. The location: her first trip to Las Vegas.
Each evening, after enduring the drone of endless presenters, Jill escaped to the Roulette tables. Tonight she hoped to get lucky.
Enticed by cheers and victory dances as every minute it seemed a white ball bounced into someone’s number, Jill changed more cash to Roulette chips than her budget. Tonight, the ball seemed to like her wagers.
“Place your bets,” the croupier coaxed again.
Feeling she was getting lucky, and ahead $200, she placed half of her red chips on black 11 and the rest on a street bet covering 13, 14, 15.
“Come on 11 or 13!” she pleaded as the ball circled the wheel.
The ball bounced around and stopped on the black 11 . . . for less than a second before continuing its pinballing ways from number to number.
On TV the croupier’s enticement differs slightly. “When a moment turns romantic . . .“ Place your bet. Wait. And hope you get lucky and a moment turns romantic.
Sounds like an invitation to place your bet on a romantic Roulette wheel.
You don’t want to just plead with the little white ball and hope a moment with your sweetheart turns romantic. You want to put the odds in your favor and repeatedly romance your sweetheart.
The best way to have more Romantic Interludes is to:
- Observe how your sweetheart prefers to be romanced.
- Create the idea for a Romantic Interlude to romance your sweetheart as he/she prefers.
- Plan the Romantic Interlude.
- Put the plan into action.
Don’t just hope to be lucky and the moment to turn romantic. Plan how you’ll make the moments romantic. Put your plan into action and create your own luck. Robert
