A Scent-ible Interlude

Remember the smell of your mom’s perfume? Your dad’s aftershave? Aromatic memories get burned deeply into our brains.

Use a scent to create a Romantic Interlude memory.

Create dinner for your sweetheart. Either cook or pick up one of her/his favorite dishes. Include a favorite beverage. Find a special dessert. Set the table elegantly. Lower the lights. Set the mood.

Add the scent of an aromatherapy candle or diffuser. Make the fragrance noticeable but not overwhelming. Enjoy the evening.

About a week later, relight the same candle. Let the aroma rekindle memories for your sweetheart of the Interlude you shared.
