Watching Others Romantic Discomforts

Have you ever seen the lines of awkward couples waiting for a table on Valentine’s night or even on a date? Have a Romantic Interlude at their expense.

Pack up some drinks into car-safe containers, maybe coffee, tea or hot chocolate. Add finger-food like bite-sized pizzas, mini quiches or sandwiches. Bring along the chocolate-chip cookies.

Climb in the car and ride around the restaurant district. Watch people standing in restaurant lines for their Valentine’s dinners or a Friday night date.  Notice how stressed they look trying to converse or squirming in the suit or gown that hasn’t been worn in a while.

You’ll be enjoying your snacks and each other’s company while laughing at the awkwardness of others.

Robert, a hopeless romantic
