Food Insecurity Interlude

Many college students are on such a tight budget they may not eat regularly nor nutritionally. It’s called “food insecurity”.

Find an agency, churches or civic organizations in your area helping food insecure students. Invite your sweetheart to join you volunteering for a day.

Extend this volunteering Interlude, by asking about pre-packaging food, something the two of you can prepare together ahead of time. This gives you extra time together.

Working together and helping others can bring you closer. It may not sound like stereotypical romance, but you could show each other a different side – and that can be very attractive and romantic.
