Baking together is a great Romantic Interlude. Making something “from scratch” brings even more satisfaction.
For this Interlude, you’ll only need butter, sugar, flour and some imagination.
Find a 3-ingredient sugar cookie recipe. Work together to make the cookie dough. Split the dough in two. Each of you flatten one part of the dough to a height of about 1/4″ ~ 1 cm.
Now each cut your dough into different “cookie-sized” shapes to form a message for the other. Maybe add sprinkles or cinnamon.
After baking these odd-shaped cookies, attempt to decipher the message the other created. Doubt you can do this without laughing.
