Romance When Your Sweetheart is Ill

Sometimes your sweetheart may not feel well. Maybe just nauseous or possibly a full blow “I’m dying” illness.

You can still romance your sweetheart. Serve a light meal.

When someone feels “puny”, certain foods are “therapeutic”: warm soup or a broth. Bananas are easy to chew. Rice or toast help with nausea. Maybe a cup of tea. Make it a small, quiet meal.

The presentation is important. Use a tray with silverware and a napkin. Add a sunflower. Serve in bed or on the couch.

Once served, sit and quietly enjoy each other’s company. This is about creating a memory of when you cared for your sweetheart. And it is romantic.
