Even though it’s been soggy around here, the calendar says it’s spring.
Take advantage of the warmth and smells of spring. Invite your sweetheart to go for a stroll with you around the block.
Start your stroll by taking your sweetheart’s hand and take a little risk. Tell a joke. It could be an old one or a new one. Make it tasteful. Don’t worry if it’s corny. Don’t worry if you’re not really a comic. Your sweetheart will enjoy the groaner and your sweetheart will love that you are taking him/her for a walk.
After the joke, tell your sweetheart why you enjoy spending time with him/her. That should put a smile on your sweetheart’s face.
Let the conversation flow from there and enjoy the weather, the walk and time with your sweetheart.
